This $1,000 award is presented to a member of the Society who has made outstanding contributions in the field of clinical and/or basic pharmacology. There is no age restriction. Nominations for the award should include a letter of recommendation, the curriculum vitae of the individual proposed and any appropriate publications or letters of support. Selection is made by the Awards Committee. Deadline for nominations is Nov 30.
Each submission (application and letters of support) is ranked according to the following 2 criteria:
1) Administrative contributions to clinical and/or basic pharmacology
Score: 0 – 5
2) Educational contributions to clinical and/or basic pharmacology
Score: 0 – 5
Each member of the Awards Committee ranks the candidates out of a possible maximum score of 10. In the eventuality of potential conflict of interest, the committee member will not be eligible to rank the candidate.
