CSPT Board of Directors Position(s):

- Royal College Liaison: 

CSPT members are encouraged to submit applications to be the Liaison of CSPT to the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada Clinical Pharmacology & Toxicology Residency Specialty Committee.  In this role, the liaison member is responsible for working with the Royal College Residency Specialty Committee to advise the Royal College on specialty-specific content issues related to standard setting, credentials, assessment and accreditation.

The liaison member will be expected to attend meetings of the Royal College Residency Specialty Committee which are held at a minimum of once per year in person and may be held more often virtually.  The liaison member is also expected to attend monthly Board meetings of the CSPT, virtually.  This position is a crucial link between the Royal College and CSPT and will be a member at large of the CSPT Board.  The term of the position is three years. 

CSPT members who are clinically qualified and are members of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada are encouraged to apply for this position.  Members interested in this position should contact Dr. Bruce Carleton, Immediate Past President, CSPT at bcarleton@popi.ubc.ca.
